On the eve of Power Engineer's Day, specialists from the branch of IDGC of Center, JSC - Voronezhenergo, summed up the results of the annual children's drawing competition "Children against electrical injuries". In 2014, the competition became the most widespread in the seven years of its existence. About 220 people sent their works - 273 drawings.

The most active participants were schoolchildren from Buturlinovsky, Verkhnekhava, Nizhnedevitsky, Pavlovsky, Ertilsky districts.

The children's creativity was assessed by specialists from the public relations department and occupational safety engineers from Voronezhenergo. First of all, experts paid attention to the originality of the ideas in the drawings.

First place in the “junior” category (grades 1-4) was taken by Yulia Klimova, a second-grader at the Mosal school from the Kashira district. Julia portrayed harmful mice, for whom playing with an electrical outlet became an instructive lesson: the rodents received a painful electric shock. For her work, the girl composed a poem that ends with the words: “You, baby, must remember: “Be careful with the socket!”

Second place went to Artem Chernyshov, a 1st grade student at the Uglyanskaya Secondary School (Verkhnekhava district) with his drawing “Uncle Tok.”

In the category “Grades 5-8”, the jury awarded first place to Tatyana Sharapova, a sixth-grader from Voronezh secondary school No. 18, with her drawing “Don’t touch the bare wire!”, made in three-dimensional 3D format.

Not long ago I was struck by the idea of ​​organizing a competition on our blog for children’s drawings about how they see energy. Yesterday I found out that they beat me to it. Unfortunately, only users of the corporate network can view and vote for their favorite drawings. I downloaded several drawings from there and decided to post them on our blog.

I hope that next year we will organize several similar competitions ourselves.

Our organization summed up the results of a children's drawing competition on the theme “Electricity in our lives.” All children, without exception, could take part in the competition, including students from correctional schools and boarding schools in Saratov. All competition participants received gifts. For the first five places, the winners received 1 monitor and 4 tablet computers.

5th place was taken by Tatyana Sladkina with her drawing “Evening everyday life of the outskirts.”

The author accurately conveyed the colors of the evening city, the drawing is perfectly balanced in color scheme. It is clear that Tatyana has an understanding of the laws of perspective. The semantic depth of the drawing is reflected in the clearly conveyed contrast: despite the outer desolation of its outskirts, the city is seething with inner life. And this life becomes possible thanks to electricity, filling our apartments with warmth and light, illuminating the night streets, moving electric vehicles...

We gave 3rd place to Elizaveta Meleshko for her drawing “Night Park”.

It’s amazing how such a young artist feels color! We see only three primary colors - yellow, dark gray and dark blue, but due to the richness of shades, the drawing acquires a mood and is imbued with a special lyricism. The idea conveyed with talent is admirable: the loneliness and darkness of the night park are broken through by streams of electric light, stretched in an endless train into the unsaid distance of the alley... Additional depth to the picture is given by the open interpretation of the yellow color - sometimes it seems to the viewer that autumn has gilded the trees and colored the paths of the park with fallen leaves. And sometimes we catch ourselves thinking that electric light, possessing absolute, dominant energy, can instantly absorb the colors of objects, replacing them with its own - the color of gold, the color of ripe corn, the color of juicy lemon...

2nd place went to Maxim Slyusarenko with his drawing “Save the Planet.”

The drawing is done masterfully. The antithesis is clearly presented: technologies that pollute the environment and environmentally friendly energy produced from electricity. Looking at the reaction of the globe, there remains no doubt about the choice, and no doubt about the benefits, power and inexhaustible potential of electricity.
